Lenten Program - 2025
In No Greater Love, You Will Experience the Unconditional Love Christ Has For You!
We often hear about Jesus’ Passion and death in the Gospels, the Rosary, the Mass, the Stations of the Cross, and many other devotions. Because we hear about Christ’s Passion so often, it’s easy for us to lose sight of its profound significance. But imagine if you had never heard these stories before. Imagine experiencing them for the very first time, and realizing that Jesus is a real person who really suffered and died for you and for me so that we can have eternal life.
Beginning on 4th March 2025 (Shrove Tuesday), we will be offering a program at our parish that will help you to experience Christ’s Passion and Death as you never have before. In No Greater Love: A Biblical Walk Through Christ’s Passion, we are going to walk step-by-step with Jesus on his journey from his Agony in the Garden to his Crucifixion on Calvary. Along the way, we will unpack the biblical background to these events, the prophecies, and most especially, the ways Jesus is inviting us to walk more closely with him today.
Every step of the way we will unpack Old Testament prophecies, messianic expectations, and connections to our Catholic Faith. We will see that practically every word in these Gospel accounts of Christ’s passion is charged with great significance. As we unpack these details, you will experience a deeper understanding and appreciation of God’s immeasurable and unconditional love for you—and you will grow closer to Jesus than you ever have before.
Participants of No Greater Love will receive a book and also a workbook. We will meet every week for prayer, fellowship, discussion, and an engaging video presentation presented by Dr. Edward Sri, which was filmed on location in the Holy Land, so we can see the actual locations where Christ’s passion occurred!
We will begin No Greater Love on Tuesday 4th March at 7pm in Meadow Hall. For more information or to register for the study, see our website for the calendar event and supporting pages.
Please consider joining us for this wonderful opportunity. I can promise you will love it!
