Parish Leadership Conference

Thank you to all those who participated in our first leadership conference. It was affirming to see so many leaders of our parish ministries working and sharing alongside other key stakeholders in our parish. 

The day was filled with inspirational chat, amazing ideas, and lots of good humour.

Fr Kim highlighted the progress that we have made in developing our vision over the past three years and how this is already transforming our parish into one where we create disciples that go out and spread the word of Jesus.

One of the key aims of our leadership conference event was to help forge a framework for creating a better church that everyone feels that they can belong to, and more importantly participate in.  We recognise that people wish to engage with our parish on many different levels, and no matter which level they come at, we want them to feel that they truly belong and have the space to grow in their faith.  

We will be taking forward many of the ideas presented by those who attended and embed them into our long-term strategic plans for the parish. Again, thank you.
